Hey kids. A lot of you guys ask me what kind of camera I use for my photos. For my normal shots from daily life I use a Sony Nex-3 which I bought on amazon for 230€. As for my outfit photos, it's a lot harder to explain, since my boyfriend takes my photos, who's a professional photographer. Which means he changes between two bodies, a Canon 5D Mark II and Mark III and quite a range of very expensive and high quality lenses. For the ones who follow me on Facebook or Instagram, I uploaded quite a lot of today's photo shooting already, but I always save the whole set for my blog. Everything I post on my blog is quite special to me. Facebook is usually just for junk photos not precious enough to deserve a full post on my most treasured space here haha. I have to divide today's shoot though, since there are more than 40 photos after editing left. Way too much for one post.
In this post my boyfriend used his Canon 5D Mark III with a 135mm lens. At first I didn't like this lens at all, but now seeing the final result after editing the colors and everything I must say that it creates a quite clear and sharp image. Sorry, I don't know all the professional terms. I'm such a noob when it comes to photography. Everything I know, I know thanks to my boyfriend. I usually just walk around with my Nex-3 and shoot whatever in automatic mode. Even trash on the floor.
My boyfriend is usually the one who offers to take photos of me, and I'm usually the one to turn it down because I'm too lazy to apply make up and do my hair. I'm not that kind of natural beauty to look absolutely flawless in a white tee, a pair of jeans, loose hair and a bare face. I have to make an effort to look good, but I'm lazy too, it's a dilemma to me. When we got back together people said that I'd probably break up with him again if he didn't take photos of me. What a bullshit. Regardless of who my boyfriend is, I would force anyone around me to take photos of me. That first. I'm a blogger. I even make my mom take outfit photos for me. I'm lucky because my boyfriend happens to be a photographer, but that fact that he's a photographer doesn't mean that it makes me forcing him to take photos of me. Even if he worked at Starbucks I'd force him to haha.
