Munich diary ft Madox and Nathalie
A casual Saturday in Munich. Even though I grew up in a different part of Germany, a small village close to the french border, and moved to Munich on my 13th birthday, my life and friends in Munich have influenced me a lot. Munich will always be my hometown to me. This is where I made my best friends, where I had my first boyfriend, where I enjoyed the significant parts of my education, where I grew up and turned from a little girl to a bigger girl. It shaped me a lot and gave me enough opportunities to become the person I'm today. I'm from Munich all the way, and I will probably always feel that way. (What would I be like if I had grown up in that village I lived in before : / I'd probably smoke weed.)
Even though Munich is not a big city, it is widely known internationally. Either because of our soccer club, FC Bayern München, or because it's the capital of Bavaria, which is known for it's beer. Oh, and we have Oktoberfest, or how we call it, 'Wiesn'. The biggest beer festival in the world. That day there happened to be a celebration for our soccer club, because they won the German soccer tournament thing. Once again : ). If you live in Munich, you will never get around soccer events, and beer in connection to that. And it's always fun. Whenever it's soccer time, the whole city turns into one big community ! Besides that, we Munich people like to consider Munich as one big village. Everyone kind of knows everyone. It's one of the biggest cities in Germany, yet so small in many ways. I don't see myself returning for good anytime soon, but I always love coming back when I've been away for a while.
Anyway, that day Madox, Nathalie and me we just hung out. There are so many photos of Madox because I took them of him for Kelbin Lei House. His sweater is from Kelbin's brand. Even though I've been a blogger for godknowshowlong, I'm a sucker when it comes to posing. That's why I'll never be a model haha. Madox is a natural. Actually I feel more comfortable behind the camera than in front of. But I don't have what it takes to be a photographer either, that's why I'm a blogger haha. We did what we always did. Discuss future plans, ourselves, Floralpunk. By the way, Nathalie is looking for an internship in fashion/lifestyle right now. If you know about something in Munich, let me know ! Oh, and in case you didn't know yet, Madox is my business partner now. He is now the complete other half of Floralpunk and do all the background work, whereas I will be responsible mainly for marketing, buying and everything visual. He will have to do all the paper work haha. I'm so glad I don't. But since he has a background in retail management, I think he will do a billion times better job than I ever could.
Going back to Berlin tomorrow and taking my mom and Cookie along. I havn't been to uni for at least a week, damn it. I was either sick or just didn't go because I spent time doing other stuff. And tomorrow I can't go again, because I won't be back in Berlin until evening. Oh well. My working attitude is like always 100%, and my studying attitude is like always bottom low haha. I've always been like that. But luckily I always got through with it. I have to make sure I'll get through with it again. I need that damn B.A. degree so my mom can stop nagging me about it.
