“You look tired.”, is what I get a lot these days. It’s an extremely stressful phase right now. Floralpunk is undergoing a lot of changes, I have to temporarily fill the position of marketing manager because we haven’t found anyone yet. Besides that I have to keep the overall business running, do creative direction and production/buying. People have one job, i have like four. I also have JJ, my bf and #jujuthepoodle and if you haven’t noticed from several funny posts, I also take on influencer jobs because every time I do, I think, ‘why not?’. All that money goes into JJ’s saving account. I complain that I’m busy and tired and stressed out, but that’s just me. I load it onto myself. Because in the past years, ever since I realized that I CAN, I have always pushed myself to the limits. Even though if I had the opportunity to, I could not sit still and rest. Every day of mine is scheduled and planned out. If I don’t have to work on Floralpunk, I have to answer tons of mails and messages, try to reply your kind comments, research about how to raise a baby, do youtube and in the meantime I still need to keep my social life and social media alive. Oh let’s not forget that I have to try not to look shit even though most of the days now I just don’t want to do make up and just wear shorts out. I don’t do that because it would make me feel shit about myself while I watch other amazing human beings on social media always looking perfect haha. Ok long story short, I need a personal assistant I think. The idea of having one makes me feel kind of weird but my little brother @duydoan is convinced that I need one lol. I’m not an easy boss to work with, just to get that straight. I’m nice but I can’t deal with people who are slow and have no common sense. Like, it makes me upset, but I won’t tell you but instead send you a really really long e-mail. I’d prefer somebody who is punctual, matter of fact, understands their tasks and if not, communicates. Tasks include a lot of errands, a lot of content creation, a lot of checking on things, should be able to hang out with Juju and JJ. Also detail-oriented & organised. Mail me ! (If you can’t find my e-mail I won’t hire you anyway)

Unboxing video now on my IGTV channel! The new Instagram function. I personally love it because even though the interface is not very refined yet, it helps to upload more high quality content too long for instagram, too short for youtube and not fitting with the feed 😂 I often make videos and always end up uploading just a snippet on instagram stories. So yeah, let’s explore this new function 💪🏻
Stayed at The Shells, which is really photogenic and nice architecture-wise but it’s also kind of run down. Wouldn’t stay here again. We booked last minute for 7 and needed a big room because of baby so I chose this hotel, but the one I actually really wanted to book was the Premier Village ! It’s new but the villas look amazing and come with a private pool each. This time I didn’t book it because I heard that there’s still a lot of construction going on and JJ is a light sleeper. But next time, I’ll definitely wanna check it out. JW was impossible to get that many rooms on consecutive nights so last minute. Travelling with a baby is quite restricting, don’t underestimate it. My criterias were: large room size, stroller friendly, bath tub, kitchenette, large bed, clean (obviously), so yeah. Next time def wanna try the 4 bedroom villa at the Premier Village. First trip ever with baby and full-time mom for a couple days. My munchkin is sooo curious and just never sits still xD wants to touch and grab anything that crosses her way. #juliadoansaigon is back ! I had lunch at Paul, Saigon Center, today and discovered that they have mussels on their menu 😍 I love love love mussels ! Out of three styles available, I picked the garlic cream one and PAUL didn’t disappoint ! Those weren’t the best mussels I have ever had in my life but I haven’t had any decently good ones in Vietnam before, so I was quite happy. The bread sticks were crispy and I wish they would have left more sauce in the dish. I’m not a regular at PAUL, ever since I realised that I like St. Honore bread better, but compared to other Western food places, PAUL is still a good choice. Another dish I really like is the other one in the photos, i don’t know what it’s called. It’s something with potatoes and mushrooms 😂 Give me a like if you want me to feature more food places. I’m a real foodie and nothing makes me as happy as a good meal ❤️ (except for JJ haha) #juliadoaneats #saigon #hcmc #paulvietnam
