Time passes by so fast, i always feel like I wrote this kind of post just yesterday, but actually it was 10 days ago. My life is 80% Floralpunk so I really enjoy writing my weekly Floralpunk update.
Sales was a little slow this week and it always gets me so worried. But maybe because it's end of the month ? And people are running out of money? Or due to the fact that we don't have a lot of new stocks ? When you are the kind of entrepreneur who is 100% living off their business, and have so many goals to achieve, and ideas to realize, this kind of week really freaks you out. Even though I shouldn't complain too much. I'm proud of what I have achieved. We don't really stock a lot of new products, but we always get new customers who buy our classics. The most important thing to me is building up a faithful customer base. So that once I drop the bomb with a lot of cool new arrivals, I can be sure that I have enough customers who will buy and appreciate them.
The only exciting thing that I can report from this week is that our new Komono watches have finally arrived. With the first two Komono wholesale orders I played safe and ordered the Komono Winston Royale which is a bestseller worldwide, but actually it's not really a watch for me, because it is indeed very manly, so I decided to stock and try different models this time. I told my staff to take photos right away and am quite happy with the ones they sent me through WhatsApp. I edited them with Snapseed and hence am able to blog about it right away already.
I'm so impatient, so I could never schedule a photographer for once a week, to take photos of my new arrivals.I taught my sales girls to take photos and every single time we get new arrivals or back-in stocks, they have to take pictures for me right away. Posting 2-4 instagram posts a day requires a lot of content, and since I don't have a production team (yet) I mostly rely on myself or my sales girls. So happy to have them. Anyway, check out our new watches. I will tell the marketing girls to upload them on Facebook, Instagram and our online shop tomorrow <3
I really hope that I can bring more cool brands to Vietnam. I'm currently working on stocking Quay sunglasses, Blute Blute designer candles from Seoul, notebooks from Blacklist, Australia and also Birkenstocks from Germany. I like the mix of brands and no-name products, and that's exactly what I'm planning to offer at Floralpunk. The known and the unknown.
